Autumn Beauty Wish List
Snapchats of pumpkin spice lattes, Halloween costume planning and starting a new year of school, Autumn is an annual time of change for most people. For make up lovers, Fall undoubtedly brings the release of brand new products from all our favourite brands in seasonal shades and revamped ranges. Here’s a few new products I’ll be hoping to get my hands on in the next couple of months:
Origins RitualiTea Oolong-la purifying cleansing body mask – £25
I’m obsessed with products that use tea as an active ingredient and this luxurious all over body mask looks like it could be a new favourite. It’s a 2in1 mask and scrub that comes in three different ‘flavours’ of tea. The RitualiTea range also includes ‘powder face masks’ to energise, purify and revitalize your skin.
NUXE Huile Prodigieux Shower Oil – £10
Birchbox sent me a sample of this in my September box and I’ll definitely be purchasing the full size from their website. Although described as an ‘oil’, the formula is more like a gel that sinks into your skin and leaves it feeling silky smooth. It smells gorgeous and I definitely noticed a difference in the look of my skin after showering; it seemed to ‘glow’ from within rather than shimmer which I really liked.
Morphe 35O – Colour Nature Glow eyeshadow palette – £19.50
This palette is alllll over Instagram, YouTube and Pinterest feeds and I know it’s one of those products I just need to try. I’m really hoping that this doesn’t turn out to be just another neutral eyeshadow palette, but with 35 shades for under £20, the value for money is great.
Sleek Precious Metals Highlighting Palette in Cleopatra’s Kiss – £9.99
This quad of highlighters comes with two cream and two powder formulas which all look super pigmented and so pretty. I love the variety gold tones in this palette and the name + packaging are really cute. Most of Sleek’s highlighters are really great quality so hopefully this won’t disappoint.
Makeup Revolution Precision Contour Set – £20
Another product featured heavily on Instagram and YT, oval face brushes seem to be the new Beauty Blender. Makeup Revolution are my fave drugstore brand at the moment and recently released a range of oval face brushes that are much more affordable than other brands. This set comes with oval face, cheek and shape brushes.
Mac Liptensity in Double Fudge – £17.50
I’ve been waiting for an excuse to purchase a new lip product from MAC. Rather than buying another lipstick (although I believe you can never have too many), I’m interested to try the new Liptensity formula. Double Fudge looks like a dark, vampy, mahogany sort of colour and has a satin finish.
Chanel Le Vernis in Rouge Noir – £18
This is already one of my favourite nail polishes, but I’ll definitely be re-purchasing it in the next few months. Rouge Noir is an intense, dark, velvet red that looks striking against any skin tone. I always get compliments on this whenever it’s on my nails and like all Chanel nail polish, the quality is amazing.
